Count calories, cut the fat and sugar down. Also running or jogging is the quickest way to burn the fat so a good thing to do is hit the treadmill.
bellercise
Sit ups are best as is a body slidder. I’m sure you don’t need to loose wait don’t worry!
I am Anusuya. If you are in a condition of obesity then you eat lesser amount of food. you can skip your meal or try out some exercise.
Unfortunately, you can’t reduce belly fat without reducing your overall body fat. So more cardio exercise and weight training to tighten up. Gotta get rid of the fat layer first. You can do this!
Alright firstly, if you do a trillion sit ups a day, it will only train your abs and not take all of the fat away.
Human body does not do site specific fatloss (to an extent that its actually noticable). We would all look deformed otherwise.
By walking, that does not mean, your losing fat from your legs.
Now that i have cleared the misconceptions of fat loss, to real business. To loose weight, ANYWHERE, you have to combine exercise with a good nutrition program (this does not mean starving btw).
2 Parts of exercising you can do for MAXIMUM affect. 1 is using free weights (light weights tho). And no, this will not give you a manly look, females cannot gain muscle the way males do because they dont have the hormones just like males , so dont worry about lifting weights. This should train your shoulders, arms, upper back, lower back, chest and legs. Please see websites for exercises for training each, and pick one execise for each body part and do 3-4 sets of 12-30 reps depending on your stamina. This should idealy between 30 mins to 40 mins and nothing more or less. Do this for 3 days a week.
Now the second part of training, is cardio. This could be jogging but i reccomend you do brisk walking (walking as fast as you can) for at least 45 mins to an hour and a half for 3 days a week. Brisk walking actually burns more calories than jogging (according to recent studies).
Now that once you start doing the exercise, your body will start using a lot of calories. You will even notice your skin and eyes fresher.
The Nutrition Part is the most ignored part in any training program, but its 70% of everything. What you eat, is what you are. So change to healthy things. You must avoid processed foods and take aways at all costs. If you aim to eat healthy, fruits and vegtables , fish and using Virgin olive oil instead of normal oil for cooking, and making a big salad instead of having a very sweet desert. It will make a huge difference, and generally speaking, healthy eating = lower calories.
Of course that statement is only true if you eat reasonably. But its hard to over eat a salad as long as you dont have salad cream on it.
By controling your nutrition and doing exercise, your body will be in a negative caloric state. This means its using more calories that its getting. And this results in fatloss.
This might be hard to understand all in one go. I am sorry if i made it sound really jumbled up, but i tried to include all the points that are vital. This is the reason most people never dramatically change their appearance (weight wise etc) because they dont know this information, and 2 they dont stay dedicated.
So before you start this plan. Write down on a piece of paper, the reasons why you want to lose that weight. Just write down as many (at least 20!!). It sounds silly, but i believe, if a person has enough reasons written on paper for doing something, they WILL get up and do it , every time its required!
Best of luck and stay positive! You are not only going to lose weight, but your whole mood/skin/eyes/nervous system will be 1000% better.
Combine different exercises,, use the treadmill for a while, keep your heart rate to about 127 bpm, than do sit-up maybe 30—than slowly build.
When you start at the gym, the trainers will give you invaluable advice and show you great techniques.
Also every body is different, and you’ll never know where it will come off,, don’t let this discourage you,, it’ll work in the end.
You need to burn the fat to get to the muscle, your tummy should flatten.
High carb foods also tend to drop to the belly region, watch your diet.
Measure your waist line,,around the bellybutton region,,and in 2 weeks check again, these things cannot be rushed.
Good luck
the best thing to do is regular power walking, all those machines are good for tone, but you really need a program you can do every day, not too hard but not too easy, and you want to loose that fat first before you think about a toned stomach. listen or not , don’t wast your time and money at the gym on machines unless you do at least 40 minutes walking a day, you can have 1 day off to rest if you like. Just do heaps of walking drink heaps! of water and no fried food, soda, white breads, pastries, and no high sugar foods. Do aerobics if you can that is great or cycling, swimming, cross trainer machines are good. But the main and BEST thing for you to do is start your day off with a early breakfast including fruit, grain toast, cereal, low fat milk, fruit juice and plenty of water all day. Then get that 40 minutes of walking in everyday, you’ll be hot property in no time : )
Crunches are the best, but belly fat is the hardest and last to lose. you have to modify your diet and burn more calories than you consume to actually notice a difference. So mix a little cardio in there with your exercise program.
What SEL said is great advice and well considered.
I wish I had wrote that stuff… spot on~ must be like a personal trainer or something..
