I want to loose weight but i am still pretty young like a preteen and i am not obease but i weigh 115 pounds and I want to loose some of it. What is the quickest and smartest way of loosing weight?

115 pounds is not that heavy, depending on how tall you are. But running and eating healthy should do the trick.

drink a water bottle before you eat your meal, it will make you more full so you eat less amounts. only eat when your hungry and for snacks you should eat fruits and veggies. you should workout everyday. running, walking, workout videos, and workout machines. hope that helps
eat healthy and exercise! it’ll stay off if you keep doing that, too.stay away from sodas and such, drink LOTS of water, take your vitamins, and exercise at least a half hour a day (give yourself one day off a week from the exercise though for rest). As for eating healthy, make most of your meal vegetable based, light to no oil, and light on meats (you can still include them, just don’t have that huge steak for dinner). if you eat salads, go light on the dressing or choose low fat dressings. Use things like cheese as a condiment, not as a food. Or go for the very low fat cheese. In general, eat healthy and low fat, and exercise, and you should be fine. It’s the most effective way to lose weight. Starving yourself will only make things worse, not better, so I wouldn’t recommend it.
From my own ;personal experience, the fastest I ever lost weight was on the McDougall program, which you can look up on the internet. I ate all vegan foods, no meats, no oils,no sugar, but you can have all the veggies and carbs you want. I remember I hardly exercised and lost 20 lbs in a month. It was hard to stay away from the oils and meats, but it was worth it! If you did the program and exercised too you’d probably lose weight even faster. It depends on how much weight you need to lose (I had a lot to lose) and how badly you want to lose it. I think there is a McDougall Board at http://www.vegweb.com if you want to check it out. You can try the 12 day challenge and see if it helps you at all. Most people find they at least feel quite a bit healthier when they do it. I know it seems extreme but it is a fast effective way to lose weight!
