The best (and only) way to lose belly fat is to lose body fat. Do this via exercise and a healthy, lower calorie diet.
The first step to losing weight anywhere is to drink lots of water.
you cannot spot reduce, no matter how hard you try. losing fat will require a lot of cardio and a healthy diet. for exercise try running, that has worked for me. good luck =)
Cardio- running, biking, tae-bo,dancing…anything to get your heart rate up will burn fat. You can’t spot reduce so you need to work out all over in order to lose the belly. I know b/c this is my problem area as well.

The best way to lose belly fat is to excercise and eat healthy and begin doing sit ups. An easy way to do situps that won’t hurt your back is to lay on your back tuck your hands under your bottom to support your back and then lift your legs but bend your knees so that your thighs are vertical and your calves are horizontal. Then once you do that cross your ankles and then slowly stretch your legs out and bring them back to the beginning positions.As you stretch your legs out tighten your stomach and breath out. You must pull your stomach in and keep it tight while you stretch your legs out. Also Keep your back flat against the ground while you do this. If you do 3 sets of 20 situps each day for two weeks you will notice that your abdoment is more toned. These sit ups are easy to do and they dont’ strain your neck or back. Also for every 5 situps you do on the fifth situp hold your legs out a bit longer. Sit ups are a key for a toned abdomen, but you need to eat healhty and do other excercises too such as walking or climbling stairs. At least do 15-20 mins of physical exercise such as fast walking or climbing stairs and then slowly increase your time until you are doing 30-45 minutes of cardio exercise a day. You can even split up the 30 minutes of exercise into 2 15 minute sessions or 3 ten minute sessions or even smaller intervals. By parking farther away from the door to a store and walking fast until you get to the door or powerwalking through the store can give you your workout. Start slowly with the situps and each day increase the amount a little. Try it . They really work and they don’t hurt or strain your back.

Exercise-CARDIO to be exact. Crunches/ab exercises. squats, kyaks- act like your in a kyak boat and twist your body side to side like you are trying to manuver the kyak around in the water well its hard to explain but you probably get the idea. Just remember to keep you legs up while moving your arms from side to side.. Butterfly kicks, shadow boxing. Jump roping. spin cycling classes or just jogging.
Your stomach is naturally the size of your fist. You should not consume more than that amount per every 4 hrs. Stay away from fried, fatty foods.
