By eating healthy… eat fruits and veggies instead of fatty foods but don’t forget to get your grains and protein in… drink plenty of water..
and exercise around 30 minute to an hour a day… too much and your body weight will plateau… alternating days between cardio and weight training is the best to get that lean muscle I am assuming you want..
Remember though that muscle is going to weigh more than fat… so go by what you can wear other than the scale itself… as muscle is also leaner than fat.
Hi there, it is well publicised that diets never work permanently. I make the suggestion that you take a look around http://snipurl.com/3v985 its an excellent place with great free, sound advice. I worked off 6 pounds in six weeks by taking their advice
Eat smaller portions and exercise. But baby step – don’t do a full blown exercise program right from the start.
Start lifting weights and walking . It will speed up your metabolism and give you muscles. Muscles burn more calories then fat. You don’t need to over do it, but muscles will help you burn more calories. Stay away from those diet pills. No pill will do it for you.
First off, i just have that say that you cannot just ‘get’ anorexia like a common cold. Its a mental illness and there is so much more to it than going on a diet.
Sorry there, just had to vent that to you. I’m very glad you’re not one of them girls who actually wants to have the illness though.
Anyway, to answer you’re question –
To loose weight healthily, you will have to reduce your carbohydrate, fat and sugar intake and eat lots of fruit and vegetables. Eat between about 1200 and 1500 calories a day and try not to snack between meals. Also, go to the gym about 4 times a week for a good hour or so. It may take a while to lose it so you’re at a healthy bmi but don’t let that get you down – just stick to eating healthy and exercising and cut down on fatty and high calorie foods. Good luck!
Quick helpful tips:
drink a glass of water with lemon first thing in the morning
dont eat after 7pm,if you do , eat protein
instead of eating 2 or 3 times a day ,eat 5 or 6 small portions
example for a great healthy day: your glass of water w/ lemon,a fat free yogur,banana,4 almonds, cucumber or baby carrots, turkey breast sandwich no mayo with plenty of greens, apple, tuna + plenty of water mixed with some cranberry juice.
Exercise can be fast pace walking or swim.
The key is to eat healthy not processed food.
Every morning when you look yourself in the mirror ,look in to your eyes and repeat : I am grateful for being young, healthy and beautiful!!!
Good luck
