How do you loose belly fat?
I have lost weight, by going to the gym, but the only fat I didn’t loose much of is the belly fat. I do crunches and situps and stuff, but do you guys know any other helpfull ways to loose it?

walk at least 2 miles a day and drink lots of water, no sweets and very little bread, good luck!!
run. a lot.
gym + sauna
Cardio and lots of it. Run distance a couple of days a week and run long sprints on the other days. Crunches will not remove belly fat (it simply tones the muscle under the fat).
run alot, and do situps
stop eating junk food try meats…umm..do a lot of exercises!! belly fat is hard to lose!
sit up…and jogging early in the morning…
Dude, the best is cardio. Run, jog, or at least walk. Thats the best way period. Oh yeah, no Micky D’s or Taco Bell either…well at least not a lot
Try touching your toes or when doing cruches, you go up and hold for a few seconds thats what my gym teacher tell us to do
Well, I’ve found a simple way. It’s helped me lose ten inches of it in 2 months. Don’t eat so much, by that I don’t mean that you personally overeat though. I mean think of it how Buddha described the middle path. Eat enough to have energy for what you need to do, don’t eat so much that you’re bloated and don’t eat so little that you’re week. It’s all about moderation.
If that is the only place that you are holding fat then it’s what you are eating that is preventing this loss. If you are drinking regular (not diet) soft drinks, fruit juice, too many carbs, then you are going to continue to hold the fat there. I’m sorry but you must change your diet to change this. You could do crunches every second of the day for a week straight and it won’t help because you can’t spot reduce like that. With crunches all you are doing is toning the muscle under the fat and not doing anything with the fat.

There is no way to spot-reduce weight. Keep doing what you’re doing with the overall weight loss, and the belly fat will eventually disappear. Once it does that, your hardwork on the crunches will be visible, in those beautifully toned muscles that are currently hidden.
you can target the muscles and tone them to minimize bulge but fat loss is a metabolic thing, continue with your program your doing great. watch what you eat. go lean proteins and healthy oils. ask someone at the gym for help with your diet and exercise routine, now that you have the hang of it a few tweaks may help with the results. yea i do how much running do you do a day??
instead of your usual 1 mi (assuming) do a mile and a 1/4 and gradually increase you distance as well as your stamina andleg muscle.
VERY clean diet, and a balance of cardio with weight training……you cannot spot reduce, fat comes off in layers….
Go back in time to when you were 12.
Gym and exercising like sit up and stretching 190 degree.
do sit ups with 20lb weights on your chest.
do oblique crunches.
grab 2 10lb+ free weights in each arm put them behind your head and start doing sit ups.
This is one of the most common misconceptions in the fitness industry. You can not spot reduce fat. You can do 1 million sit ups a day and it will only strengthen the muscles under the fat. Only through proper diet and cardiovascular exercise can you burn fat. The fat will come off in a predetermined pattern based on your genetics. For most people this means the belly will be the last place to lose fat.
If you could spot reduce fat, there would be a lot of weird looking baseball pitchers and tennis playes with one arm leaner than the other.
cut down on carbs
aerobics are key..when you just to upper body exercise such as sit ups etc it does nothing but build muscle making you actually bigger and wider cuz all it does is push the fat in more…what you needs to do are aerobics like running ..jump rope..cardio etc…..just moving your feet non stop for atleast 20 mins can totally make a diff…
You should try going on a healthy diet. Eat healty stuff for a certain period of time. Try to cut down on the junk food and sugar. Eating a little junkfood and sugar once in a while is ok but try to follow your diet. Working out is also very good. Go to the gym when your not busy or go there on a daily schedule. It does help if you do sit ups, crunches and etc. but sometimes you cant tell that you lost weight. If you want to know if you’ve lost weight or not, you should have something that tells you you’re weight and keep a piece of paper with all of the different weight you are each day. For example: you go on something that tells you what you’re weight is and the write what it was. The next day you do the same thing and so on. Finally you can check to see how much weight you have lost. This all should help! Good Luck!
