No substitute for controlling calories and getting more exercize. Make changes that you can stick with as a lifestyle, not temporary "diets". Walking 60 minutes a day will make a difference, done all at once or little at a time. Don’t try to do too much, or you’ll just get discouraged and give up when you don’t see instant results for all your hard work. If you walk an hour a day everyday, you’re going to lose weight. Your appetite will come under control and your metabolism will increase.
Weight training is also effective (in addition to walking). Building lean muscle mass will help you burn more calories all day long.
"Junk food" comes in many forms. Breads, pasta, potatoes, rice, and other simple carbs can do things to your blood chemistry that will interfere with your goal. Eat lots of fresh vegetables, and not too much fruit.
Limit your portions. Eat 5 meals a day. That way you don’t get too hungry, and your smaller portions won’t seem like such a deprivation, because you know you’re going to be eating again soon.
Eat slowly, and not in front of the TV. Enjoy the food. Most people with weight problems don’t truly enjoy the food, they just eat absent mindedly and don’t really take time to savor each bite.
Start your meal with a healthy soup, or an apple, and you’ll find that it’s easier to control your calorie intake.
If you find yourself wanting more food after a meal and feel like you can’t resist the urge, then tell yourself that you can have more, but that you just have to wait 30 minutes. There’s a good chance that the craving will pass, especially if you don’t make it a prohibition.
Don’t sweat it if you make some bad choices sometimes. But try to at least make better bad choices. Don’t supersize it, for example. Better yet, if you "cheat" and visit a fastfood joint, pass on the fries. Don’t look at it in terms of since you’ve cheated anyway, you might as well enjoy yourself. Minimize the damage.
Get plenty of sleep. Lack of sleep triggers inactivity, hunger, and slow metabolism.
the area you are having problem with is a normal it also the hardest part to lose try sit up crunches and walking also leg exercise is good. eat a healthy diet watch how many calories you take in verse how many you use daily. But don’t forget you wont see improvement right away it take time.
Doing muscle building exercises is the best way. For every pound of muscle you build, your body will burn 700+ calories a day to maintain.
Looks like you’ve got diet covered as that is about 70% of the strategy in staying slim.
Good luck.

eat alot of raw vegies and exercise.
Do a search for the Glycemic Index and read up on how it works. Even if you aren’t diabetic, it’s a great way to lose belly fat because it helps to regulate your insulin levels to keep burning fat.
Also, if you include drinks or foods with aspertame in them in your diet…stop. Aspertame is like sweet-n-low and in some people reacts to make it harder to lose weight. Do some research on the effects of Aspertame as well which is found in most "diet" foods and some sports drinks.
As far as exercises, the best I know of are crunches (not full situps) and leg lifts…on your back and lift your straight legs about 6" off the floor and hold. You’ll know if it will work where you want it to by the burn you feel.
the average male needs around 2500 calories a day. to lose weight you have to eat around 2200-2400 cal a day to force your body to use its fat reserves. split your daily intake into 6 smaller meals and eat them regularly through out the day, every day. couple this with lots of water and regluar exersice. i would suggest as a start doing 45 mins of low impact cardio work, eg cycling, swimming, fast walking 4-5 times a week. you will also benifit from weight training. muscles need energy just to exsist, therefore the bigger the muscle the more calories you burn just breathing. i’m not suggesting you turn into the incredible hulk, but its good exersice if done right.
as soon as you wake up chug two glasses of water as this boost your metabolism for the day. also when you eat chew your food for a really long time as it fills you faster. don’t eat carbs for 4 hrs before you sleep and finally if you are sticking to a healthy balance diet etc then for one meal a week, i do it on friday nights, eat anything you want, any kinda junk food or anything you have a craving for. this helps you stick to a diet cos you get to treat yourself, but most importantly it will boost you metabolism again. a week of dieting and exercise will start to slow your metabolism down, so this "cheat meal" is crucial.
it sounds to me like your on the right track, just eat healthy and exercise, and good luck.
finally if all else fails you could consider products like hydroxycut. but i would try it without first.
exercise religiously.
