Can I loose belly fat by doing just cardio?
I really want to loose some belly fat that has snuck up on me in the past two years
but i also want to work on sculpting my waist to achieve a more defined hourglass figure and to do this i have to avoid pilates and exercises that work on the abs…
Can i just do cardio to loose the belly fat or no?
Thank you

You can reduce the amount of fat on your waist and other body parts by doing just cardio. However, the best results for fat loss, as well as a more toned look comes from resistance training…be it with weights, bands, or your own body as the weight.
Good luck.
Yeah but it will take white. There is basic formula for diet. Loose more calories than you gain. I mean if you take 2000 Ca. per day than try to loose about 2200 to 2500 a day. I would say do cardio and try to work on yr abs that way it will kind of push yr belly in as well. It will also help loos some extra calories without tiring yrself.
Running is a great way to cut off fat from anywhere on your body. Jogging two to three times a week should put you on a moderate pace to losing the belly fat you speak of.
Running shreds the fat off of your legs, chest, belly, neck, even the arms. You might not think so since you are obviously putting alot of effort into your legs to keep yourself going, but if you maintain a decent posture while you run, it requires your whole body to keep yourself running long distances.
Generally when you run you should try to aim for about 20-30 minutes of jogging, and try to keep a steady pace. If you cant do 20-30 minutes, shoot for 10-15 minutes until you feel that your lungs and stamina can handle a 20 minute run, then after another week or two try for 25-30 minute runs and so on. Try to start small and work your way up.
If you want to lose weight fast, simply restrict your diet a little bit and run more times a week, say 4-5 times instead of the 2-3 that i suggested earlier.
Hope i helped at least a little!
You cant target fat loss. Cardio and diet is the best way for fat loss. Doing some crunches and ab work outs with your cardio will help to build some muscle on your abs too. You wont bulk up on the muscle but will be stronger which will help on your weight loss as you go
